éclair was a French (partly British for awhile) company that designed and produced professional movie cameras used for independent films, documentaries and news gathering. The éclair brand was acquired by AATON and the innovative designs created at éclair can be seen in modern film cameras. éclair cameras continue to be used today by both indie and pro filmmakers.
